THE PROJECT IS LOCATED SOUTH OF MAIN STREET ONOLD MERIDIAN STREET. THE NEW ADDITION IS PART OF THE EXISTING STRIPMALL AND PARKING IS SHARED AMONG ALL USERS AND TENANTS. AS PART OFTHIS PROJECT, NO DRIVEWAYS WILL BE CLOSED. NO NEW DRIVEWAY CUTS WILLBE CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF THIS PROJECT. THE SITE IS LOCATED IN A PLACEOF PREVIOUS DEVELOPMENT AND AN EXISTING DETENTION FACILITY EXISTS ONTHE PROPERTY. THIS DRY DETENTION BASIN AND WETLAND ALSO ACTS AS ASTORMWATER QUALITY MEASURE. A NEW STRUCTURAL STORMWATER BMP ISBEING CONSTRUCTED AS PART OF THIS PROJECT. THIS ADDITIONAL BMPMEASURE WILL BRING THE SITE INTO COMPLIANCE PER CITY OF CARMELORDINANCE. DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE SITE IS ALREADY A FULLY DEVELOPEDSITE, THE PROJECT INCREASES GREEN SPACE AND REDUCES RUN-OFF LEAVINGTHE SITE. SINCE THE SITE IS ALREADY COVERED BY AN EXISTING DETENTIONSYSTEM AND THIS PROJECT DOES NOT INCREASE RUN-OFF, THE EXISTINGDETENTION SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO FUNCTION AND REGULATE THESTORMWATER QUANTITY LEAVING THE SITE.PROJECT NARRATIVE1. IDENTIFICATION OF ALL RECEIVING WATERS:EXISTING DETENTION POND/BASIN LOCATED SOUTH OF PROJECT IN SOUTHEAST CORNER OF BUILDINGLOT WHICH ULTIMATELY DISCHARGES INTO GRASSY BRANCH OF LITTLE COOL CREEK AND INTO COOLCREEK.3. ESTIMATE OF PEAK DISCHARGE FOR POST CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS (10-YEAR):3.22 CFS4. LOCATIONS OF SPECIFIC POINTS WHERE STORMWATER DISCHARGE WILL LEAVE THE SITE:STORMWATER DRAINAGE FROM THE SITE WILL BE CONVEYED TO AN EXISTING STORM SYSTEM TO ANEXISTING DRY DETENTION BASIN. THIS BASIN DISCHARGE INTO THE GRASSY BRANCH OF LITTLE COOLCREEK.5. IDENTIFICATION OF ALL POTENTIAL DISCHARGES TO GROUNDWATER:NO NEW POTENTIAL DISCHARGES TO GROUNDWATER.6. THE LOCATION OF ALL TEMPORARY STORMWATER QUALITY MEASURES CAN BE FOUND OF SHEETC4-1.B. THE DIMENSIONS OF ALL TEMPORARY STORMWATER QUALITY MEASURES CAN BE FOUND OF SHEETC4-1.C. DETAILED PREDICATIONS FOR ALL TEMPORARY STORMWATER QUALITY MEASURES CAN BE FOUNDON SHEET C4-2.D. CONSTRUCTION DETAILS FOR ALL TEMPORARY STORMWATER QUALITY MEASURES CAN BE FOUNDON SHEET C4-2.E. ALL PROPOSED POLLUTION PREVENTION MEASURES SHALL BE INSPECTED FOR DEFICIENCIES ON AWEEKLY BASIS AND WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ALL RAIN EVENTS.SILT FENCE: INSPECT SILT FENCE WEEKLY AND AFTER EACH STORM EVENT. IF FENCE FABRIC TEARS,STARTS TO DECOMPOSE, OR IN ANY WAY BECOMES INEFFECTIVE, REPLACE THE AFFECTED PORTIONIMMEDIATELY. REMOVE DEPOSITED SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES HALF THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCE ATITS LOWEST POINT OR IS CAUSING THE FABRIC TO BULGE. TAKE CARE TO AVOID UNDERMINING THEFENCE DURING CLEANOUT. AFTER THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREA HAS BEEN STABILIZED, REMOVETHE FENCE AND SEDIMENT DEPOSITS, BRING THE DISTURBED AREA TO GRADE AND STABILIZE.CATCH BASIN FILTER: INSPECT WEEKLY AND AFTER EACH STORM EVENT. REMOVE BUILT-UP SEDIMENTAND REPLACE THE GEOTEXTILE FABRIC AFTER EACH STORM EVENT. PERIODICALLY REMOVE SEDIMENTAND TRACKED ON SOIL FROM THE STREET (BUT NOT BY FLUSHING WITH WATER) TO REDUCE THESEDIMENT LOAD ON THIS CURB INLET PRACTICE.EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS: DURING VEGETATIVE ESTABLISHMENT, INSPECT AFTER STORM EVENTSFOR ANY EROSION BELOW THE BLANKET. IF ANY AREA SHOWS EROSION, PULL BACK THAT PORTION OFTHE BLANKET COVERING IT, ADD SOIL, RE-SEED THE AREA, RE-LAY AND STAPLE THE BLANKET. CHECKTHE TREATED AREAS PERIODICALLY.STONE CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE: INSPECT ENTRANCE PAD AND SEDIMENT DISPOSAL AREA WEEKLYAND AFTER STORM EVENTS OR HEAVY USE. RESHAPE PAD AS NEEDED FOR DRAINAGE AND RUNOFFCONTROL. TOP DRESS WITH CLEAN STONE AS NEEDED. IMMEDIATELY REMOVE MUD AND SEDIMENTTRACKED OR WASHED ONTO PUBLIC ROADS BY BRUSHING OR SWEEPING. FLUSHING SHOULD ONLY BEUSED IF THE WATER IS CONVEYED INTO A SEDIMENT TRAP OR BASIN. REPAIR ANY BROKEN ROADPAVEMENT IMMEDIATELY.CONCRETE WASHOUT: INSPECT DAILY FOR DAMAGE. REPAIR ANY DAMAGE IMMEDIATELY. MAINTAIN12" MINIMUM FREEBOARD. CLEAN OR CONSTRUCT NEW WASHOUT ONCE EXISTING WASHOUT IS 75%FULL.9.
