MATERIALS AND WORK SHALL BE FURNISHED, INSTALLED, AND COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH PROVISIONS OF THE LATEST EDITION OF THE APPLICABLE BUILDING CODES, AND ORDINANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FIRE CODE, ELECTRICAL CODE, PLUMBING CODE, MECHANICAL CODE, ENERGY CODE, ACCESSIBILITY CODE, AND RELATED STANDARDS. DISCREPANCIES IN THESE DOCUMENTS DOES NOT REVIEVE THE SUBCONTRACTORS FROM COMPLYING WITH APPLICABLE CODES. 2.THESE DRAWINGS INDICATE THE GENERAL SCOPE OF THE PROJECT IN TERMS OF DESIGN INTENT, THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BUILDING, THE MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS, THE STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS, AND THE MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. THE DRAWINGS DO NOT NECESSARILY INDICATE OR DESCRIBE ALL WORK REQUIRED FOR FULL PERFORMANCE AND COMPLETION OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT. ON THE BASIS OF THE GENERAL SCOPE INDICATED OR DESCRIBED, THE TRADE CONTRACTORS SHALL FURNISH, CONSTRUCT, INSTALL, AND FINISH ALL ITEMS REQUIRED FOR THE PROPER EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF THE WORK. 3.EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL FULLY REVIEW THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND VISIT THE PROJECT SITE TO BECOME COMPLETELY FAMILIAR WITH THE WORK PRIOR TO BIDDING. ANY CONTRACT DOCUMENT CONFLICTS, POTENTIAL CODE VIOLATIONS, AND/OR ISSUES ENCOUNTERED AT THIS SITE MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE DESIGN/BUILDER PRIOR TO BIDDING. 4.COORDINATE PHASING OF THE WORK AS REQUIRED, PROVIDE BARRICADES AND TEMPORARY WALLS AS REQUIRED TO PROTECT OCCUPANTS AND AREAS OF THE BUILDING IN USE DURING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES. SAFETY AND SCHEDULING OF THE WORK IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DESIGN BUILDER AND EACH SUBCONTRACTOR AS DIRECTED AND REQUIRED BY THE DESIGN BUILDER. 5.THE OWNER MAY OCCUPY THE SITE AND THE EXISTING FACILITY DURING THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF CONSTRUCTION. EVERY ATTEMPT SHALL BE MADE BY THE DESIGN/BUILDER TO MAXIMIZE THE SUBCONTRACTORS ACCESS TO THE FACILITY. ALL TRADES SHALL BE REQUIRED TO COOPERATE WITH THE OWNER AND DESIGN/BUILDER'S SCHEDULING TO MINIMIZE THE DISRUPTION OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY WITH THE OWNERS USE OF THE FACILITY. ALL TRADES SHALL GIVE ADEQUATE NOTICE OF ANY ANTICIPATED CONFLICTS. 6.DIMENSIONS ARE TO FACE OF GYPSUM BOARD, FACE OF MASONRY, AND TO COLUMN CENTERLINES, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. 7.DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS. CONTACT ARCHITECT IF ADDITIONAL DIMENSIONAL CLARIFICATION IS NEEDED. 8.NO GREATER THAN ½”CHANGE IN ELEVATION SHALL BE ALLOWED AT HANDICAPPED ENTRANCES. 9.PROVIDE FIRE-RETARDANT WOOD BLOCKING SUPPORT AT ALL SURFACE MOUNTED ITEMS MOUNTED TO FACE OF GYPSUM WALLBOARD WALL. 10.COORDINATE WORK WITH OTHER TRADES AND WORK PERFORMED BY OWNER UNDER SEPARATE CONTRACT, IF ANY. 11.CAULK ALL JUNCTURES BETWEEN DIFFERENT MATERIALS 12.CAULK ALL COUNTERTOP BACK SPLASHES TO WALL USING MILDEW -RESISTANT SILICONE SEALANT IN COLOR AS SELECTED BY ARCHITECT. 13.PROVIDE MISCELLANEOUS METAL SUPPORT FOR ALL CEILING SUPPORTED ITEMS. 14.THE MINIMUM QUALITY OF WORK SHALL BE BASED ON INDUSTRY STANDARDS FOR RESPECTIVE TRADES (I.E. AWI, ETC.). 15.SUBMIT SAMPLES OF ALL FINISHES AND EQUIPMENT DATA SHEETS TO THE DESIGN BUILDER FOR APPROVAL PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE WORK. 16.WHERE DEMOLITION OCCURS, PATCH AND RESTORE EXPOSED SURFACES TO MATCH ADJACENT, EXPOSED FINISHES TO REMAIN. CONFIRM SELECTIVE DEMOLITION WITH DESIGN BUILDER. PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY SHORING AND BRACING TO MAINTAIN THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF ALL BUILDING ELEMENTS. 17.REMOVE AND REINSTALL EXISTING WALL MOUNTED ITEMS AS REQUIRED FOR PAINTING AND RELATED WORK. 18.SEE MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING DRAWINGS FOR ADDITIONAL WORK. 19.SEE FINISH PLAN AND SCHEDULES FOR FINISHES. 20.ALL DRAWINGS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS ARE INTENDED TO COORDINATE AND AGREE. WHEN A DISCREPANCY OCCURS, IMMEDIATELY CONTACT THE DESIGN BUILDER FOR A DETERMINATION REGARDING THE REQUIRED SCOPE OF WORK. 21.ALL DOORS TO BE LOCATED 4”FROM ADJACENT WALL TO DOOR FRAME UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 22.UNLESS OTHERWISE DIRECTED BY THE DESIGN BUILDER, SUB CONTRACTORS SHALL MAINTAIN UN-INTERRUPTED ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, AND GAS SERVICE DURING ANY REQUIRED DEMOLITION.
