Melissa,
This signage proposal seems to comply with the signage standards for both the IDC and Carmel. It
has the landlord’s approval. No permit is needed, but it does need an approval from the City. Have
Caryn email the proposed sign design to the Signs Permits Specialist, Aliza Shalit,
ashalit@carmel.in.gov, along with this statement for that approval.

Yes, but there is an issue here with the awning measurements. I do not need the distance from edge of awning to the
wall, I need the actual surface dimensions (H x W). This is how we calculate the sign area percentage vs the awning’s as
well as the sign fee as well.
