IF CONDITIONS ENCOUNTERED DURINGEXAMINATION ARE SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT FROM THOSE SHOWN, THE CONTRACTOR SHALLNOTIFY THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER IMMEDIATELY.2.EXISTING SITE INFORMATION AND TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY WAS PREPARED BY WOOLPERT INC., DATEDMAY 28, 2021. ANY SITE CHANGES/MODIFICATIONS MADE AFTER THIS SURVEY ARE NOT REFLECTED INTHESE PLANS. CONTRACTOR TO NOTIFY WOOLPERT, INC. OF ANY DISCREPANCIES PRIOR TOPROCEEDING WITH CONSTRUCTION. IT SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'SRESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN THE NECESSARY PERMITS FOR THE WORK, SCHEDULE NECESSARYINSPECTIONS, AND PROVIDE THE NECESSARY TRAFFIC CONTROL MEASURES AND DEVICES, ETC., FORWORK PERFORMED IN THE RIGHT OF WAYS.10.THE CONTRACTOR IS TO PERFORM ALL INSPECTIONS AS REQUIRED BY THE INDIANA DEPARTMENTFOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (IDEM) FOR THE NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATIONSYSTEM (NPDES) PERMIT AND FURNISH OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE WITH WRITTEN REPORTS. OWNERWILL OBTAIN NPDES PERMIT.11.CONTRACTOR SHALL IMPLEMENT ALL SOIL AND EROSION CONTROL, PRACTICES REQUIRED BY THECITY OF CARMEL AND THE IDEM.12.ALL GROUND SURFACE AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN EXPOSED OR LEFT BARE AS A RESULT OFCONSTRUCTION AND ARE TO FINAL GRADE AND ARE TO REMAIN SO, SHALL BE SEEDED AND MULCHEDAS SOON AS PRACTICAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS. IF NO SPECIFICATIONS ARESUPPLIED, USE INDOT SPECIFICATION ITEM 205.04.13.ITEM NUMBERS REFER TO THE 2022 INDOT STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, AND ALL CONSTRUCTIONWORK SHALL BE DONE ACCORDING TO SAID SPECIFICATIONS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLESTANDARDS OF THE CITY OF CARMEL. WHEN IN CONFLICT, THE CITY REQUIREMENTS SHALL PREVAIL.14.ALL WORK PERFORMED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONFORM TO THE LATEST REGULATIONS OFTHE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT.15.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REFER TO OTHER PLANS WITHIN THIS CONSTRUCTION SET FOR OTHERPERTINENT INFORMATION. IT IS NOT THE ENGINEER'S INTENT THAT ANY SINGLE PLAN SHEET IN THISSET OF DOCUMENTS FULLY DEPICT ALL WORK ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROJECT.16.BEFORE INSTALLATION OF STORM SEWER, SANITARY SEWER, ELECTRICAL CONDUIT, WATERLINE ORANY OTHER UTILITY, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL CROSSINGS, BY EXCAVATION WHERENECESSARY, AND INFORM THE OWNER AND THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OFANY CONFLICTS. THE DESIGN ENGINEER WILL BE HELD HARMLESS IF NOT NOTIFIED OF DESIGNCONFLICTS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.17.ADJUST OR RECONSTRUCT ALL EXISTING CASTINGS, CLEANOUTS, ETC. WITHIN PROJECT AREA TOMEET PROPOSED GRADE AS REQUIRED.18.CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE & REPLACE PAVEMENT AS SPECIFIED.19.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CHECK EXISTING GRADES, DIMENSIONS, AND INVERTS IN THE FIELD ANDREPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO BEGINNING WORK.20.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE EXACT LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES. TAKE CARE TOPROTECT UTILITIES THAT ARE TO REMAIN. RELOCATE EXISTING UTILITIES AS INDICATED, OR ASNECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION.21.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL REQUIRED PERMITS PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OFCONSTRUCTION.22.PROVIDE A SMOOTH TRANSITION BETWEEN EXISTING PAVEMENT AND NEW PAVEMENT. FIELDADJUSTMENT OF FINAL GRADES MAY BE NECESSARY. INSTALL ALL UTILITIES PRIOR TO INSTALLATIONOF PAVED SURFACES.23.SITE WORK CONCRETE WALKS AND PADS SHALL HAVE A BROOM FINISH TO ALL SURFACES. AS REQUIRED TO CONVEY THE ROOF AND PAVED SURFACE DRAINAGE TO THEDETENTION BASIN.9.ALL STORM STRUCTURES ARE INDOT TYPES UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.10.THE STORM SEWER SYSTEM SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED PER DESIGN SPECIFIED AND AS APPROVED BYTHE CITY OF CARMEL ON THE FINAL APPROVED CONSTRUCTION PLANS.
