Dear Mr. Hefton:
At the meeting held on Monday, September 26, 2022, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Development Standards Variance (DSV) request filed by you for the property located at 401 1st Ave NE:
DENIED: King Residence Variances: Development Standards Variance approval for:
• Docket No. PZ-2022-00162 V: Maximum 24” window well encroachments into yard allowed; 42”
encroachment denied.
Please refer to the BZA Rules of Procedure regarding the applications that were denied and have an adverse decision.
