Docket No. 67-01 PP; Meridian Mark - Residence Inn and Springhill Suites The site is located on the on the west side of Pennsylvania Street 1260 feet north of 116th Street. The site is zoned B-8/business and is located within the US 31 Overlay Zone. Filed by Dave Sexton ofthe Schneider Corporation for Meridian Mile Associates. The applicant is proposing 3-lot subdivision to split the parcel previously approved for the construction of a Residence Inn Hotel and Springhill Suites Hotel. The site is currently under construction. While the construction of the buildings is permitted on the single lot, the owner desires to split the lot into three lots to allow the sale of the property to the respective hotel operators. As the commission members may recall, this site has been the subject of two previous approvals by the Plan Commission. The project received Development Plan and ADLS approval in 2000 allow the construction to proceed. Please see the informational packet provided by the applicant to view the layout of the lots in relation to the building locations. The proposed Primary Plat has no impact on the Development Plan as approved by the Plan Commission last year. It is a technical matter that will only allow the owner to sell the properties to the hotel operators. The applicant has addressed all Department requests and has no additional comments. If there are no comments from Commission members to be addressed by the Committee, the Department recommends that the Plan Commission waive the rules of procedure and approve the Primary Plat this evening.
