Please find enclosed one mylar and two prints of the Secondary Plat for Meridian Mark III. The plat has
been revised per your comment letter dated November 9,200 I. Revisions and/or comments are as follows:
1. 4"x4" concrete monuments have been added to the perimeter of the subdivision.
2. The reference to the DP/ADLS Docket number has been removed from each of the 3 sheets.
3. A note has been added to sheets I & 2 stating "Note: Meridian Mark III is a ROSa III (Z-
346) Exempt Subdivision."
4. The address denoted for Meridian Mile Associate of 11711 N. Pennsylvania Street is correct.

On November 7, 2001, the Department received the revised Secondary Plat of Meridian Mark III.
The following are comments from my April 4, 2001, correspondence that have yet to be addressed:
· The Monuments that define the boundary of the subdivision are required to be 4" x 4" x
36" concrete. Please make this correction.
· Though you need not put the DP/ADLS Docket No. on the Secondary Plat, if you choose
to do so, please cite it as 61-00 DP/ADLS.
· Please add the following, "Note: Meridian Mark III Subdivision is a ROSa III (Z-346)
Exempt Subdivision."
· The street address given for Meridian Mile Associates is 11711 North Pennsylvania
Street. Is this correct? If their offices are located in Meridian Mark II, then the address is
11711 North Meridian Street.
Once these changes have been made, please produce one (1) mylar and two (2) paper copies for
approval by the Department. Once the plat has been recorded please return one (1) mylar and
three (3) paper copies to the Department.

Meridian Mark III Subdivision (Revised Secondary Plat)
Dave,
The revised Primary and Secondary Plats look good. The following changes need to be made:
1. Change ADLS to DP/ADLS on the Secondary Plat.
2. Have Secondary Plat Mylar signed by Owners prior to submittal.
The Department will be recommending that the Plan Commission waive its rules of procedure and approve the
Primary Plat at the meeting on July 17th. Otherwise they would send the plat to committee and act on it at the
August 21 meeting. We are making this recommendation because the plat is straight forward and we have no
unresolved issues with it.
Please remember to bring findings for the Plan Commission meeting on the 17th.
Once the changes have been made to the secondary plat please produce a mylar copy for signature by this
Department. Two paper copies of the plat must be filed with the mylar at that time. Three paper copies and a
mylar ofthe recorded plat must be submitted following recording. Our approval ofthe secondary plat
(signature) will be forthcoming upon revision ofthe plans according to the items listed above.

The Plats have been revised per tac comments and your letter dated June 25, 200 I to include the following:
I. The plats have been renamed to read "Meridian Mark III Subdivision"
2. Legend on Secondary Plat has been revised to include monument materials and specs.
3. "Front Yard Setbacks" along Meridian and Pennsylvania Street have been revised to denote
"Build to Line"
4. Pennsylvania has been revised to denote "North Pennsylvania Street"
5. Access easements have been added to the plats at the entrance and at the North & South ends of
the site.
6. Covenants and Restrictions will be forwarded to you by REI Investments. Langauge has been
added on the last page of the Secondary Plat referring to the Covenants.
7. A note has been added to the plats denoting the docket numbers for the Primary Plat, Secondary
Plat and the previously approved ADLS.
8. The 10' landscape easement along North Pennsylvania Street had been revised to denote it's
recording information.

RE: Meridian Mark Secondary Plat
Dear Mr. Sexton:
This letter is in response to your Secondary Plat filing for Meridian Mark. The following issues must be resolved
prior to signature of the plat by the director:
1. Add "rn Subdivision" to the name of the Plat (to read Meridian Mark rn Subdivision).
2. Revise Legend to add length ofrnarkers, as required under Section 8.2 of the SCO.
3. Change "front yard setback" lines along Meridian and North Pennsylvania Street to "Build to Line"
4. Add North to Pennsylvania and change from Avenue to Street.
5. Identify access easements on plat.
6. Forward us a copy of the covenants and Restrictions. Also cross reference on the face of the plat.
7. Add a Key Map of Mayflower Park.
8. Add Note: Add Note on face of Plat for Primary Plat, Secondary Plat, DP/ADLS and UV docket
nnmheT!'l.
9. Remove Proposed 10' Landscape Easement by City of Carmel from plat. If it is not a recorded
easement or you are not plating it as an easement don't include it.
10. Add access easement at north end or property where parking and drive of use to north encroach onto
area included in this plat.
11. Have Mylar signed by property owner prior to signature by director.
Please submit a revised Secondary Plat with the above-mentioned changes. Once these changes have been made and
comments addressed, please produce a mylar copy for signature by this Department. Two paper copies of the plat
must be filed with the mylar prior to recording. Three paper copies and a mylar of the recorded plat must be
submitted following recording prior to the issuance of any building permits. Our approval of the secondary plat
(signature) will be forthcoming upon revision of the plans according to the items listed above.

1. The correct street name is "Pennsylvania Street", not Avenue.
2. The petitioner is requested to construct the sidewalk on the West Side of Pennsylvania Street, from the
south drive to the north property line.
Commercial Curb Cut approval for the Residence Inn and Springhill Suites project was granted by the
Board of Public Works and Safety on May 16,2001. Construction plans were approved by this Department
on May 16,2001.
