Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2022-00180 SU: Irsay Pond Special Use
Dear Mr. Brown:
At the meeting held on Monday, October 24, 2022, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Special Use (SU) request filed by you for the property located at 11700 Clay Center Road:
APPROVED with Conditions: PZ-2022-00180 SU, request for Special Use, Artificial Lake, or Pond (Non-
platted) granted with the conditions of 1.) addressing all remaining TAC review comments, and 2.) finalizing
the easement for 116th Street.
Please be advised that per Article 9.09 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is October 24,
2025.
