Stormwater detention and stormwater quality are provided through offsite measures as approved through Block 11 Carmel Science & Technology Park analysis prepared by The Schneider Corporation in 2007. The downstream storm pipe system was designed to accept runoff from this project site in developed conditions as part of the master plan basin 622 which correlates to existing curb inlet 'ex4' in the proposed design/plans. Stormwater detention is provided for the fully developed conditions in the existing pond to the east of Lakefront Court. The master plan analysis assumed the contributing drainage basin was fully impervious with a runoff coefficient of c=0.90. The Lakefront Court stormwater system will convey the runoff to the master planned stormwater quality and detention systems as noted above. There are no onsite stormwater detention measures proposed. However, due to the revision in the Carmel Stormwater Technical Standards that new developments are required to provide two stormwater quality BMPs, an additional AquaSwirl XC-4 is proposed between the onsite inlets and the downstream existing storm inlet connection point. Pipe sizing calculations have been provided in the Drainage Report for the new onsite storm pipe conveyances.
