Approval of last meeting minutes:
o 2 revisions suggested; minutes to be revised as suggested; 7 approved, abstain (W.
Cooler)
Carmel City Council ordinance proposal update- revised/edited version approved 11/16/20
o Final approved ordinance will be distributed to CPAAC by J. Worrell
Review of current Intake Forms: K. Poyser
o No new intake forms at this time
Carmel 2020 Comprehensive Plan Input: J. Saltsgaver
o Current land use plan does reference public art
o Start with that statement and draft revision for CPAAC review
o State first step is to develop overarching mission for public arts in Carmel
o High quality of life includes public art
o See Exhibit A for J. Saltsgaver’s findings for other cities with public art plans
o Mayor Brainard asked S. Kibbe to draft statement along with J. Saltsgaver for his
approval and subsequent submission to greenstreet for 2020 Comprehensive Plan
Appointments: J. Saltsgaver
o Committee member appointments fixed to meet existing ordinance
