Re: Neighbor Meeting Invitation
Dear Neighbor:
We are Kevin and Mary Beth Hughes, and we started Rosie’s Gardens about 40 years
ago. We are planning on making some changes to our property, and we are reaching out to
neighbors like you to give you more information about what is to come. Enclosed you will find a
concept plan with our proposed changes, including a new store, expanded parking, and new
storage buildings. We are also petitioning the City of Carmel for a zoning change that will more
closely match our existing land use.
In advance of the public hearing for the zoning proposal, we would like to invite you to
attend a neighbor meeting to share details of the project and to make sure we have time to answer
any questions you may have.
We will host a live in-person meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 6:30
PM to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time) at Rosie’s Gardens located at 10402 North College Avenue,
Carmel, IN 46280. The meeting will either be held in the Store building or the Greenhouse
depending on attendance and weather.
Members of the Rosie’s Gardens development team will be present to describe the new
proposal and answer questions. If this time is not convenient for you, please let us know and we
are happy to arrange an individual meeting with you.
If you have any questions in advance, please contact our local team member, Andrew
Wert, at 317.776.5262 or awert@cchalaw.com. Andy is a Land Use Professional with Church
Church Hittle + Antrim who is assisting us with this process.
We look forward to speaking with you.
Yours Truly,
Kevin and Mary Beth Hughes, Rosie’s Gardens
