Lakeshore Drive Carmel, IN 46033 Joe Shestak Administrator for the Plan Commission & Board of Appeals, Carmel Indiana RE: Public Hearing Notice – 44 Horseshoe Lane, Carmel, IN 46033 Dear Joe Shestak: Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the zoning request for variance of use for 44 Horseshoe Lane, Carmel, IN 46033. We have reviewed the request packet and we agree with the letters expressing strong opposition to the zoning request. Specifically, we agree with the facts and argument presented by Joshua & Dana Coulter in a letter dated November 10th and submitted to the City of Carmel Planning & Zoning Department. We firmly agree that the commercial activity requiring the requested land use variance is not what the single-family residency in Woodland Springs neighborhood is zoned for or allowed under the covenants of the Woodland Springs Homeowners Association. We also agree that homeowners will realize decreased property value if rezoning to allow commercial apartments is approved in Woodland Springs neighborhood.
