HomeMy WebLinkAbout06060178 Misc. ., APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR: EARLY RELEASE IMPROVEMENT LOCATION PERMIT CITY OF CARMEL I CLAY TOWNSHIP Division of Building & Code Services THIS CHECKLIST IS TO BE FOLLOWED IN FILING AN APPLICATION FOR AN EARLY , RELEASE IMPROVEMENT LOCATION PERMIT, (ILP OR BUILDING PERMIT) FOR A HOME LOCATED IN A SUBDIVISION (OR SECTION OF A SUBDIVISION) REQUIRING PUBLIC ' IMPROVEMENTS, WHICH HAS RECEIVED PRIMARY PLAT APPROVAL, BUT HAS NOT YET RECEIVED SECONDARY PLAT APPROVAL. THE DEPARTMENT WILL REVIEW EACH ITEM TO ENSURE IT IS COMPLETE. THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT UNTIL ALL ITEMS ARE COMPLETE. THIS CHECKLIST AND REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION MUST ACCOMPANY THE STANDARD ILP APPLICATION FORMAND ITS REQUIRED CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION. REQUIREMENTS: 1. ADDRESS: Provide the permanent lot address for the property, as assigned from the Carmel/Clay Communications Center. A temporary parcel address may be required, if the infrastructure of the subdivision is not complete to the extent that the Operations Supervisor feels it is a health/safety issue to use the permanent lot address prior to construction and signage completion for the subdivision and its roadways. PERMIT APPLICATION: An original Improvement location Permit Application (IlP or Building Permit application) must be completed and submitted, as well as all submittal documentation listed . as required on the Permitting Procedures sheet attached tothe application. 3. SECONDARY PLAT: Provide a copy of the proposed Secondary Plat for the subdivision. 4. WATER PERMIT: As is required by the permitting procedures, a copy of a Carmel Utilities Water permit or a Well Permit from the Hamilton County Health Department is required. If this site is to be serviced by Indianapolis (Veolia) Water, we will require written confirmation that they have/will be providing service to the subdivision and this site, and that they are aware of and give consent to this early release. . a. SEWER PERMIT: As is required by the permitting procedures, a copy of a Carmel Utilities sewer permit, a Clay Township Regional Waste District sewer permit, or a Septic Permit from the Hamilton County Health Department is required. If Clay Township Regional Waste District will not issue a full or conditional permit, but are okay with construction proceeding early, we will require written confirmation that they have/will be providing service to the subdivision and this site, and that they are aware of and give consent to this early release. No Certificate of Occupancy (temporary, partial, or full) will be issued until the full sewer permit has been released and a copy submitted to the division of Building & Code Services. a. YES NO I, the undersigried, hereby acknowledge that the Department of Community Services, Division of Building & Code Services, has informed me that the Early Release ILP procedure DOES NOT entitle any entity to utilize the structure as either a Model Home and/or Temporary Sales office. APPI~~ ~ ~ ~Z46 ( Date MiI:-1I-&9...- /- i1/A-u::-2'7 Name printed IMPORTANT NOTES/CONDmONS: ~ If the information provided herein proves inaccurate, and it is found that the home has been improperly located on the lot, it will be the responsibility of the applicant to remove and replace the structure in accordance with all applicable zoning regulations and approvals. ~ Neither a Temporary, Partial, or Full Certificate of Occupancy will be issued until all utility services have been established to the home and until the Secondary Plat has been recorded and the proper documentation submitted to the Planning & Zoning office of the City of Carmel. ~ If the building is to be used as a Model Home and/or a Temporary Sales Office, a separate Temporary Use application must be obtained from the Building & Code Services office. It must be completed and submitted, along with the full Certificate of Occupancy, for review and approval.
