A townhouse is a single-family dwelling unit constructed in a group of 3 or more attached units
separated by property lines in which each unit extends from foundation to roof and with open space
on at least two sides in accordance with Section R202, IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
Please be--advised that if an administrative review of this action is desired, a written petition for review must be filed at the above address with the
Fire,Prevention and Building Safety Commission identifying the matter for which a review is sought no later than eighteen (18) days from the above -
stated'date, unless the eighteenth day falls on a Saturday, a Sunday, a legal, holiday under State statute, or a day in which the Department of Fire

In accordance with Section 19 of the General Administrative Rules (675 lAC 12-6-19) a complete set of plans and specifications that conform
exactly to the design thafwas released by the office of the state building commissioner shall be maintained on the construction jobsite as well as a
copy of the desigf"l release.
Tllis project has been reviewed under the 2005 Indiana Residential Code.
Without'a design, the minimum loading for roof design shall be in accordance with Section R301,
IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
Permitted openings between the garage and residence shall be equipped with solid wood, or solid
honeycomb core steel doors not less than 1-3/8 inches thick or 20-minute fire-rated doors in
accordance with Section R309.1, IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
Garages shall.be separated from dwelling units .and their attic areas by not less than 1/2-inch
gypsum board applied to the garage side of supporting structure and to the structure supporting the
separation in accordance with Section R309.2, IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
All stairways shall be in accordance with Section 311, IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
Foundation sole and sill plates shall be anchored to foundations in accordance with Section
R403.1.6, IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
Enclosed attics and enclosed rafter spaces formed where ceilings are applied directly to the
underside of roof rafters shall have cross ventilation for each separate space in accordance with
Section 806, IRC (675 lAC 14-4.3).
NOTE: This release is only for the proposed nine buildings located on Blocks E, F, G, H,
and P as shown on the submitted site plan.

thermal performance of the various components in accordance with Section 501.1, IECC (675 lAC
19-3-1).
