A variance has been filed with the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals to change the zoning at this address from single family residential zoning to business zoning. A Group Home is proposed for this location. I live at 3523 E. Carmel Drive and have always enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of this quiet neighborhood. There is very little traffic here. A commercial entity in this neighborhood, with the added traffic, noise and activity that such an enterprise entails, would negatively impact both quality of life and property values. In sum, Horseshoe Lane is certainly not a suitable loction for a group home. Thank you, Nancy Bate 1
