The building & Sewer Shall be pve sewer pipe meeting ASTM specifications 3034 SDR 35 of latest revision; or vitrified clay pipe, meeting
ASTM specifications C~700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials arc hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance v..'ith ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations shall be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.! and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall bc 6" diameter.
All installations shall be "ODcn trcnch" inspccted and approved bv thc Carmcl Sewer Deoartment before any baektilline is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future se\..'er permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or other sources of ground water or storm water shall be permitted to enler the public sewer.
Sewcr insoections should bc reauestcd at (317) 57 I -2648 one to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be madc on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangcments are made at least 24 hours in advance. All
plumbers or contractors installing sewer (or water) lines shall havc a plumbers bond posted with the CITY ENGINEER'$ OFFICE. Ifany street
