Verify cover requirements with applicable utility company. When excavatingaround or over existing utilities, notify utility company so that representative may be present toobserve and instruct during work.8.Contractor shall verify all vertical and horizontal dimensions and field conditions prior to startingwork, and is responsible for all field dimensions. If any discrepancies are found between contractdocuments and actual field dimensions or conditions, notify architect immediately.9.Provide positive surface drainage on all surfaces without ponding during construction and followingcompletion. Test for and correct any ponding conditions. Provide smooth transitions between newareas and existing features.10.All work shall comply with state and local regulations.11.Site work shall not begin until erosion control measures have been implemented and approved byOwner. Protect existing storm drain inlets, drainage swales, streams and water impoundments fromsediment and pollutants resulting from construction operations.12.Take particular care when excavating around existing trees and planting materials so as not todisturb or damage existing root systems.13.Concrete sidewalks and curbs to be removed shall be sawcut at the nearest joint to the removallimits and removed in full sections or panels, unless noted otherwise.14.Repair existing lawn and planting areas disturbed by construction to original or better conditionsafter work is completed. Provide additional topsoil to restore grade elevations to existing, and seedas required15.Refer to civil drawings for all site demolition, site preparation, erosion control, and drainagemeasures.16.Synthetic turf surfacing installation: a perimeter nailer system is required for turf anchoring at allperimeter conditions, including when adjacent to planting areas, flush curbs, and existingpavements. Nailer can be buried at synthetic turf surfacing perimeter, anchored to new flush curb,or anchored to existing pavements per manufacturer's instruction.
