GRADING PLAN (PUTTING GREEN)L3010Scale 1" = 10'-0"20'10'5'North1.REFER TO CIVIL DRAWINGS FOR GENERAL SITE GRADING AND DRAINAGE.2.Putting surface grading shall generally mimic existing topography and slopes, and thesurface shall positively drain to existing storm inlet southeast of putting surface.3.Contractor shall verify all vertical and horizontal dimensions and field conditions prior tostarting work. Contractor is responsible for all field dimensions. If Contractor find anydiscrepancies between contract documents and actual field dimensions or conditions,Contractor shall notify Landscape Architect immediately.4.Existing utilities shown on the Plans are shown for reference only. Verify all existingutilities in the field.5.Typical maximum sidewalk cross slopes are 2% (1/4" per 1'-0"). Typical maximumsidewalk longitudinal slopes are 5% (1'-0" per 20'-0"). New sidewalk pavement shall notexceed these maximum standards.6.Where new paved surfaces adjoin and abut existing paved surfaces and curbing, meetexisting grade.7.All new paved surfaces shall positively slope to drain.8.Coordinate all work with other trades, as required.9.Contractor shall provide shop drawing of new sidewalk layout with clearly identified crossand longitudinal slopes. Contractor shall grade adjacent lawn and planting areas toprovide gentle slopes (not exceeding 5:1) to match sidewalk finish grade.10.All earthwork not identified to receive new planting shall be reseeded.11.Underdrains within Synthetic Turf Surfacing areas shall be field staked for final layoutapproval with Engineer and Landscape Architect. Contractor shall use the locations asindicated in the Plans as the basis for underdrain layout staking. Unless notedotherwise, all underdrain ends shall be capped and clearly identified at grade with aphysical marker for future connection to existing drain systems.
