RE: Docket No. PZ-2023-00001 ADLS Amend: Majestic of Carmel Renovations
Dear Mr. Seib,
The Carmel Plan Commission Commercial Committee took the following action at its February 7, 2023,
meeting regarding approval for exterior building modifications and site improvements, including a port
cochere. The site is located at 12999 Pennsylvania St. It is zoned UR/Urban Residential.
APPROVED with CONDITIONS: PZ-2023-00001 ADLS Amendment: Majestic of Carmel Renovations
• Addressing all remaining TAC review comments,
• Adjusting column design of Porte Cochere to be more proportionate,
• Adding 2 inverted U bicycle parking racks (for 4 bike parking spaces),
• Multiuse Path compliance via a contribution to City’s non-reverting thoroughfare fund,
• Seeking necessary BZA variances for signage, and
• Finalizing permits/approvals needed for patio construction and approved renovations.
In order to assist the Department’s review, please attach a copy of this letter when submitting application for
any permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval.
