PROVIDE POSITIVE DRAINAGE IN ALL AREAS. PAVING CONTRACTOR SHALL TEST FOR ANY PONDING CONDITIONS AFTER INSTALLATION AND CORRECT. 2. PROVIDE SMOOTH TRANSITION FROM NEW AREAS TO EXISTING FEATURES AS NECESSARY. 3. ALL AREAS WHERE PROPOSED ASPHALT PAVEMENT MEETS THE EXISTING PAVEMENT THE EXISTING PAVEMENT EDGE SHALL BE PROPERLY SEALED WITH A TACK COAT MATERIAL. 4. THE EXCAVATING CONTRACTOR MUST TAKE PARTICULAR CARE WHILE EXCAVATING AROUND EXISTING TREES SO NOT TO DISTURB AND TO MINIMIZE OR ELIMINATE DAMAGE TO ROOT SYSTEM. 5.
