DEMOLITION PLAN NOTES
Refer to the supplemental drawing DP1 for walls and finishes.
DP1. Remove existing drywall and metal studs.
DP2. Remove section of wall and prep for a new door.
DP3. Remove door and frame along with the wall. Save door and frame for reuse in new rest room.
DP4. Remove steps and elevated floor.
DP5. Remove existing built-in storage unit.
DP6. Remove existing wood counter and supports.
DP7. Remove existing ceiling system and light fixtures.
DP8. Remove light fixtures. Include wiring back to the nearest junction box.
DP9. Remove existing emergency light and save for relocation.
DP10. Remove existing light switches and relocate as shown on the reflected ceiling plan.
DP11. Remove electrical outlets, data outlets and junction boxes shown on the plan. Include wiring back to
the nearest junction box. Patch the drywall in walls that remain.
DP12. Remove wall mounted markerboard. Patch the drywall.
DP13. Remove wall mounted paper roll.
DP14. Remove carpet and prep floor a sealed concrete finish.
CONSTRUCTION PLAN NOTES
Refer to the supplemental drawing CP1 for walls and finishes.
FP1. Provide 3-5/8" 20 GA metal studs @16"o.c. with 5/8" moisture-mold resistant drywall on rest room
side, 5/8" gypsum wall board on other side, and 3-5/8" insulation inside wall. Walls to extend to
structural deck above.
FP2. Relocate existing 3’-0” x 7’-0” solid wood door and metal frame. Add new Schlage, ALX Series,
Rhodes Style lever privacy hardware, 626 finish, and closer. Door and frame to be painted.
FP3. Provide Kohler, Highline, ADA complaint floor mounted toilet and Kohler, Pinior semi-pedestal wall-
hung sink w/ Kohler, Alteo 45102-4-CP, ADA compliant faucet. Include grab bars, mirror, paper towel
dispenser, soap dispenser, and toilet paper dispenser. Include extension of water supply and drain
line to the tenant’s space, water heater mounted above the suspended ceiling, water meter, and floor
drain.
FP4. All walls to be painted.
FP5. Existing doors and frames to be painted.
FP6. Provide Porcelain Wall Tile to be: Platform Surfaces, Platform Solutions Wall Tile 3x6, Color White
Ice, Gloss, floor to 7’-6” aff on all walls. Include coved tile base and Schluter top trim. Contact Tracey
Kessens-Griffin, tkessens@platformsurfaces.com, 317-366-2835. Walls to be painted above
tile.
