7i. Docket No. 155-01 ADLS - Parkwood Crossing East (College Hills PUD)
Petitioner seeks Architectural Design, Lighting, Landscaping & Signage for an office
complex. The site is located northwest of East 96th Street and North College Avenue. The
site is zoned PUD (planned Unit Development).
Filed by Charles D. Frankenberger of Nelson & Frankenberger for Duke Realty Corp.
This item was discussed under new business at the January 15th Plan Commission meeting and
forwarded to the Special Studies Committee. The Committee addressed the proposed ground
sign along 1-465 at their meeting and forwarded the item back to the full Plan Commission with a
favorable recommendation.
The Department recommends that the Plan Commission approved the ADLS petition as
amended by the applicant at the Special Studies Committee meeting on February 5th to
exclude leasing information on the proposed 1-465 ground sign.
Background information:
The subject real estate is located on the north side of 96th Street and east of College Avenue. It
consists of all the ground rezoned to Planned Unit Development (PUD) last summer to allow
office use. Please refer to the information packet distributed along with the agenda for a
complete overview of the proposed site layout including lighting and landscaping as well as the
desired building designs. The packet was delivered with the tentative agenda last week.
In addition to the ADLS application the applicant has submitted a Development Plan for review
and approval. The PUD Ordinance requires the Department to review the Development Plan
application.
