I have received and reviewed the revised side yard grading plan for Guilford Park. Upon
review of this plan I find the proposal acceptable a1J.d approve the revised plan with the following
conditions:
1. Minimal grading will occur within the non-disturb area to facilitate positive drainage
to the private underdrains. Grading will be targeted at poorly drained or ponding
areas along the rear of the perimeter lots in the subdivision. Removal of vegetation
may be required to facilitate grading. Any grading and removal of vegetation in the
non-disturb area is to be coordinated with the City of Carmel and this office.
2. Installation of new private underdrains in Section 1 between lots 108- 109, 107-108,
106-107 105-106 and 104-105 to be coordinated with the County Highway Inspector,
EDIS and this office. The connection and backfilling of these private underdrains at
the curbs shall follow the Highway's standards and specifications. The underdrains
are to be of the same material used in Section 2.
3. Dura Companies will be responsible for ensuring the proposed revised sideyard
grading plan is implemented and constructed per the approved revised grading plan
submitted August 14, 2002.
Therefore, based on the revised sideyard grading plan submitted by Roger Ward
Engineering on August 14, 2002, I believe the City of Carmel can re-commence with the issuance
of building permits for the Guilford Park Subdivision.
