HomeMy WebLinkAboutDept Report 01-15-02 CARMEL/CLAY PLAN COMMISSION DEPARTMENT REPORT January 15, 20 ),, 2k. Docket No. 162-01 ADLS Amend; Dan Young Chevrolet Petitioner seeks Amendment to the Architectural Design,Lighting, Landscaping& Signage approval granted under 46-01 ADLS for an auto dealership. The site is located northeast of East 96th Street and Keystone Avenue. The site is zoned B-3/Business and is located partially within the SR 431/Keystone Overlay Zone. Filed by Charles D. Frankenberger of Nelson&Frankenberger for D. Young Chevrolet, LLC. The applicant is requesting to modify their plans to make improvements to the facility at 96th and Keystone. Please see the applicant's informational booklet for a complete illustration of the proposed changes. The applicant was granted approval last summer to make several improvements to the site. They now desire to make changes to the approved plans. The Department would like the applicant to review the proposed changes with the Plan Commission in an approved plan/proposed change type format in their presentation. While the information booklet provides all the necessary detail on what is being proposed it does not provide illustrations of what the Commission approved previously. This information was not required but I think it would provide a good starting off point to illustrate the changes. The Department recommends that the Plan Commission forward this item to the Special Studies Committee for further discussion at their February 5th meeting. The Committee has the authority under the Plan Commission Rules of Procedure to approve the ADLS Amendment.
