1. Docket No. 165-01 ADLS Amend; Lanter Eye Care & Laser Surgery Signage ADLS
Amendment
Petitioner seeks Architectural Design, Lighting & Signage approval for a new sign. The
site is located at 10610 North Pennsylvania Street. The site is zoned B-5/Business and is
within the US 31 / Meridian Street Overlay Zone.

The applicant is requesting ADLS Amendment approval of a new sign to be placed on the east
elevation of the building at 10610 North Pennsylvania Street (see original information packet for
elevations and details, distributed with agenda for January Committee meetings). This is the
building at the northwest comer of 106th Street and Pennsylvania Street.
This item was heard at the January 8th Special Studies Committee meeting. It was continued and
the applicant was asked to return with alternative designs and to dim the existing lights on the
subject building.
The item was also placed on the February 5th and March 5th Special Studies Committee agendas.
The applicant requested that the item be tabled prior to both meetings.
To date, no new information has been submitted. The Department would recommend that the
applicant provide additional exhibits to the committee for consideration at the meeting.
The Department recommends that the Special Studies Committee approve the request after
further review to address the issues raised at the January 8th meeting date.
It the applicant requests to be tabled again the Committee may want to direct the
Department to withhold the item from future agendas pending the submittal of revised
information.
The item only requires approval by the Special Studies Committee.
