Dear Ms. Rojdev:
At the meeting held on Monday, March 27, 2023, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located
at 912 Auman Dr. East:
APPROVED: 912 Auman Dr. E. Variances - Development Standards Variance approvals for:
• PZ-2023-00022 V: Minimum 35-ft front yard building setback allowed (50’ platted setback exists),
34’11” granted, and
• PZ-2023-00028 V: Maximum 35% lot coverage allowed, 54% granted
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is March 27,
2026.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application, including the pending swimming pool permit.
