Developmental Standards Variance Request
January 12, 2001
7. Northview Christian Life Church would like to request variance of25.7.02-5 of
the Zoning Ordinance to construct two (2) ground signs, both of permanent text
(copy). One of the signs is to be located at the property comer adjacent to the
intersection of 131 st street and Hazel Dell Road. The second sign is to be located
at the new drive entry to the site off of Hazel Dell Road. This would thus give a
total of three (3) ground signs, one existing off of 131st street, and two (2) new
signs as requested.
8. Due to the fact that the church site is as large as it is, the church building sits off
the road at a significant distance. Also, the two property entrances are in no
proximity and are on different streets, separated by a major intersection. For these
reasons, the church is requesting additional signage to aid in direction of those
who are visiting the site.
