The purpose of the analysis is to determine acceptability of the tower stress level. Based on our analysis we have determined the tower stress level for the structure and foundation, under the following load case, to be: LC9.8: Proposed Equipment Configuration for New Tower Sufficient Capacity This analysis utilizes an ultimate 3-second gust wind speed of 120 mph as required by the 2012 International Building Code. Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A. When applicable, Crown Castle has calculated and provided the effective area for panel antennas using approved methods following the intent of the TIA-222 standard. 3.2) Assumptions 1) Tower and structures were maintained in accordance with the TIA-222 Standard. 2) The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as specified in Tables 1 and 2 and the referenced drawings. This analysis may be affected if any assumptions are not valid or have been made in error. This tower is designed using the TIA-222-H standard. The following design criteria apply: Tower is located in Hamilton County, Indiana. Tower base elevation above sea level: 861.00 ft. Basic wind speed of 120 mph. Risk Category III. Exposure Category C. Simplified Topographic Factor Procedure for wind speed-up calculations is used. Topographic Category: 1. Crest Height: 0.00 ft. Nominal ice thickness of 2.0000 in. Ice thickness is considered to increase with height. Ice density of 56 pcf. A wind speed of 40 mph is used in combination with ice. Temperature drop of 50 °F.
