The Petitioner proposes that three (3) signs be used as a part of the drive-through operation: (1) a "preorder" board containing II square feet and a height of 5.3 feet; (2) A "menu" board containing 44 squ~e feet and a height of 6.8 feet; and (3) A customer order display board containing 4.6 square feet and a height of 4.5 feet, requiring a variance of Sec. 10-240 of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance, which permits a menu sign with a maximum area of sixteen (16) square feet and a maximum height of six (6) feet. The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community because: The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community because the proposed signs will improve efficiency of the drive through window (a permitted use) and will improve traffic flow in and out of the community. 2.
