1. Dimensions are shown to Face of Curb, Wall, or Vertical Feature unless otherwise noted.
2. Refer to detail 1/L600 for concrete paving joint details.
2.1. "EJ" denotes Expansion Joint.
2.2. Natural color, broom finished concrete shall receive sawcut joints.
2.3. Sand release and decorative finish concrete shall receive double sawcut joints.
3. Contractor shall coordinate final joint locations in the field with the Landscape Architect.
Align to existing conditions when practical, including at building and wall corners,
connections to existing work, connections to key site amenity features, and to centerlines
of doors.
4. Space control joints evenly between all bands and expansion joints as shown, unless
otherwise dimensioned. Space interim joints equally whenever possible.
5. All pavement shown shall adhere to Details and Specification 321316 Concrete Paving.
All disturbed areas not proposed to receive pavements shall be dressed with topsoil and
seeded per Specifications.
6. If unit pavers are installed on concrete substrate contractor shall provide a jointing plan
to Landscape Architect for approval prior to construction of unit paving substrates.
Jointing plan should include expansion and contraction joints.
7. Underdrains within Synthetic Turf Surfacing areas shall be field staked for final layout
approval with Engineer and Landscape Architect. Contractor shall use the locations as
indicated in the Plans as the basis for underdrain layout staking. Install underdrains in
