Representative(s) : Steve Warne of Signature Construction Bob Olsen of eso (and several others) Again, if there are concerns that might affect the issuance of this permit, please REPLY TO ALL on this e-mail. 1 CITY CENTER PHASE 1 Building A and part of garage NOTES FROM FDN SUBMITTAL MEETING 5/12/06 Present: Steve Warne - Signature Construction; Jason - Signature Construction; Bob Olsen - CSO Architects; Jim Walls -lead architect for design; Jim Stutzman - architect of record; Jim Blanchard- City of Carmel; Sarah Lillard - City of Carmel. Various Firms involved with proiect mentioned at the meeting: PedCor; Signature Construction; McComas Engineering (structural); CSO (civil); Dalmation (sprinkler); Oberly's (M.E.P.'s); Patriot Engineering (site concrete/FDN installation) Phase I ofproiect involves: FDN for part of the LL garage at the comer of City Center Dr. and Range Line Rd.; Utility tunnel excavation; site work (grading) for phase 1 area; erosion control installation; highway barrier with fencing above barrier along roadways at this comer; retaining/shoring structural installation at this comer; piling installation; foundation and. foundation wall in LL; slab on grade; pre- . cast basement (LL) structure installation; construction up through sub floor of ground level of Bldg. A. ,( Patriot Engineering will be on site full time throughout structural concrete pouring ofFDN. They will provide Building & Code Services reports. ,( The Building & Code Services office will be notified of the pouring schedule. This way, the City can come out to inspect whatever they feel is needed. ./ The architects will also be doing inspections throughout the process, and can provide Building & Code Services with any reports they may request, regarding the construction. ,( Engineering firm( s) will also have independent inspectors there at times, who can also provide Building & Code Services with information/reports. ,( Jason will be the construction project manager on site. They will provide us his number, and a list of the names and phone numbers of other we may need to contact on site, as soon as possible. ~ Jim Blanchard asks if the City Engineer's office has approved this phase of the work. --Bob Olsen replies that they have taken this phase through T AC. --Someone else reports that some Board of Public Works approvals have been obtained. ~ Sarah Lillard reports that the full addressing scheme for the development has not yet been established, -but that this building will actually have multiple street addresses. ~ Sarah Lillard asks that when we get closer to revision/amendment for the construction of the above ground area, that someone from PedCor/Signature contact her regarding how the permits will need to be submitted. Sarah: Attached is the spreadsheet showing how we divided the OVERALL AREA for Phase I, inclvding construction areas of upper buildings. This was developed for filing with Dept of Homeland Security, which required disclosure on the full areas contained within Phase I. The area involved in the permit filed today is shown at the bottom of the spreadsheet as Carmel City Center Phase Ii Building Ai Garage only, at 67,954 sq ft.
