In March 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 the City of Carmel granted me the special exception to host short term rentals. It has been a very positive overall experience for us, my neighbors and the guests who wish to experience the City of Carmel. There have been no negative issues. Guests have been very respectful of our house rules and the neighborhood. My home has acted as a warm home-away-from-home for others. This brings me joy. I am vigilant. I closely monitor my property when we have guests with regular communications and outdoor cameras. I also make myself available to fix any immediate issue that could arise at the house. We have a strict policy against parties or parking on the street. We also require an evening curfew on noise. I would like to share 58 Wilson in the same manner of mutual and mindful respect.
