HomeMy WebLinkAboutPacket for HO 05-22-2396 Red Oak Lane Accessory Structure PZ-2023-0082V Matthew Woodruff Jamie Woodruff Statement of Request This variance is to permit the construction of an accessory structure closer to property line/setback than permitted by the UDO. Statement of Support 96 Red Oak is a well landscaped corner lot. Complying with the UDO would require removal of landscaping, and placement of an accessory structure in a highly visible location (taking away from the natural wooded nature of the 'backyard'). Placement as proposed, provides a visual and physical barrier to the backyard while maintaining the assets of this unique site. There will be no impact on the use of adjacent properties by the construction of the accessory structure. The accessory structure provides extra storage space at 96 Red Oak Lane, allowing the third bay of a garage to be used for a car (improving value). The general style of the shed will be similar to the primary structure. Both the adjacent neighbor and the neighborhood association have provided their support for this proposal. 031 002 002.102 002.002 039 040 024 001 021 022 028 027 034 029 033 036 004 022 002 035 038 026 021 023 037 018 020 019 017 003 020 013 012 023 016 019 012 015 013 003 014 005 011RED OAK LNR E D O A K R D G RED OAK CT COOL CREEK CTRED OAK LNRED OAK LNR E D O A K R D G ¯ Ad joine r Notificatio n Ma p Buffer (If Applicable) Notify Subject Image prior to landscaping.
