(V) Woodruff Accessory Structure Setback Variance.
The applicant seeks the following development standards variance approval:
2. Docket No. PZ-2023-00082 V UDO Section 5.02(B) Minimum 5-ft side setback for accessory
structures required, 2’6” requested. The site is located at 96 Red Oak Ln. (Cool Creek North
Subdivision, Lot 6). It is zoned R1/Residence. Filed by Matthew Woodruff, owner.
General Info:
• The Petitioner seeks approval to have an 8’ x 12’ accessory building sit 2.5 feet from the side property line,
rather than the minimum required 5 feet. This is a variance of 2.5 feet, or a 50% change.
• Landscaping will exist in front of the storage barn.
• The barn will be painted to match the house.
• Surrounding this site are single family residential homes.
• Adjacent neighbor support has been documented.
• HOA approval has been granted.
