this elevation is in character with the surroundinq buildinqsDof similar size and

3. The strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance to the property will result in practical difficulties in the
use of the property because:
The current traffic flow, proposed road construction and new intersectnbn creates
a practical difficulty for buildinq access and identification. With the reconfiqur-,'
ation of the intersection of Keystone Way'and Carmel Drive, the use of the access road
to the'west of the building will be more like that of a public street. If-this street
were a designated thoroughfare, a DECISION sign would be allowed (according to the sign

Developmental Standards Variance. Variance from the Carmel Clay Sign
Ordinance, sec. 25. The interpretation that the sign classified as a Fidelity
Keystone Office Park sign needs to be five (5) feet from the right-of -way versus
ten (10) feet. The applicant is seeking to locate the sign within five (5) feet of the
right-of-way of Carmel Drive as per attached diagram of sign incorporated and
made a part hereof
The practical difficulty is that if the sign is back, it cannot be viewed and
is out of sequence with other signs on Carmel Drive, located within five (5) feet
of the right-of-way.
The practical difficulty is that the sign is needed to allow people to
identify the Center and particularly the street addresses as well as the buildings
that are located to the rear.

County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Half Section; thence on the West line
