Traffic Directional Sign
This request is to allow for use of one (1) traffic directional sign with a total
area of five (5) square feet Sign Ordinance Section 25.7.01-2 allows for the
use of traffic directional signs not exceeding three (3) square feet in sign
area.
The use of the property included in this variance is essentially not changing.
However, the new building and site improvements at this location should
enhance the use and value of the areas adjacent to the subject property.
Allowance of this sign will help decrease any possible traffic conflicts associated
with this site.
The strict application of the terms of the Zoning Ordinance would result in
practical difficulties in providing a traffic directional sign for this site. The
proposed sign is the smallest standard sign available for use at any Donatos
location. This style of sign is readily recognized by Donatos customers and helps
provide smooth traffic flow to the product pick-up window and thereby throughout
the site in general.
