To Whom It May Concern:
Attached, please find the required notices of public hearing before the Carmel/Clay
Board of Zoning Appeals for the subject location. The basic variance requests consist
of the following:
1. V-066-01: Allow for use of three (3) signs. Two (2) building identification
signs and one (1) traffic directional sign.
2. V-067 -01: Allow for two (2) building identification signs to be located on one
(1) fa~ade of a building with only one (1) street frontage.
3. V-068-01: Allow for use of one (1) traffic directional sign with an area of five
(5) square feet (only three (3) s.f. is allowed by the ordinance).
The overall area of the requested sign package is within the amount allowed by the
sign ordinance for this use and location.
A copy of the variance application, and all plans pertaining thereto are on file and
available for examination prior to the public hearing at the Department of Community
Services office located in the Carmel City Hall at One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032.
The property involved is located at 1422 Keystone Way East, Carmel, IN. This site is
currently occupied by a Noble Romans restaurant. For the overall project, the existing
structure will be demolished to provide room for a new Donatos building and, if
approved, the sign package proposed by this request. An area map describing this site
is attached for your use.
