Borders will be the only tenant of Merchants Pointe whose name shall be included on the project identification sign to be placed at the intersection of AAA Way and East 116th Street, and such sign shall be included as one of the three signs permitted Borders under the Carmel Sign Ordinance. Borders Book Store is requesting a sign variance to permit the wall sign to be located on the North facia of Borders on Lot 5 to be 190 square feet in size. Borders Book Store/The Linder Company is requesting a sign variance to permit the name Borders as the major tenant in Merchants' Pointe to be included on the project identification sign on Lot 1 perpendicular to East .1 16th Street.
