Docket No. 05110020 DP/ADLS: Old Meridian Place The applicant seeks to create 129 townhomes and a mix of office and retail uses on 25 acres. The site is located at 12852 Old Meridian Street and is zoned OM/SFA. Filed by Jon Isaacs for Centex Homes. The applicant seeks approval for 208 residential units and a mix of retail and office uses. Please see the updated informational packets prepared by the applicant for an overview of the project. The public hearing for the project's DP/ADLS and Rezone were held at the December 20,2005, and February 21,2006 Plan Commission meetings respectively. No one spoke in opposition. The Special Studies Committee forwarded this item to the Plan Commission with a unanimous positive recommendation. Due to the denial of the rezone (06010008 Z) by City Council, a portion of this proposed project had to be altered to comply with existing zoning. As such, the petitioner has revised their original plan and stayed at the Committee for review. The revised plan (with the requested waiver) complies with the Old Meridian District, in terms of both use and intent. There are no outstanding staff, Engineering, or Urban Forrester concerns for this petition.
