SeeDetails next Sheet.3.Tree pits shall be tested for water percolation. If water does not drain out of tree pit within 24-hours, the tree shall be moved ordrainage shall be provided.4.Seed limit lines are approximate. Seed to limits of grading and disturbance. Contractor responsible for restoration of anyunauthorized disruption outside of designated construction area at no additional cost to the owner.5.The contractor is responsible for erosion control for all native site topsoil, plant beds, and in all landscaped and seeded areas.Provide temporary erosion control blanket for all seeded areas that exceed 4:1 slopes.6.Native site topsoil shall be laboratory tested by and accredited laboratory and amended per said laboratory's recommendations.7.All planting beds to receive 12" min. amended topsoil. Amend with soil conditioner similar to Midwest Trading MidwestLandscapers Pro One per manufacturer recommendations or approved equal. All disturbed turf seed areas to maintain or receive6" min. topsoil.8.Tree mulch rings in turf areas are 5 foot diameter, typical. Contractor shall provide a mulch ring around all existing trees withinthe limit of work. Remove all existing grass from the area to be mulched and provide a typical v-trench edge at perimeter of thebeds. Mulch to be shredded hardwood bark.9.Bedlines are to be spade cut to a minimum depth of 3 inches, unless otherwise shown on the plans. Curved bedlines are to besmooth and not segmented.10.Plants and other materials are quantified and summarized for the convenience of the owner and jurisdictional agencies only.Confirm and install sufficient quantities to complete the work as drawn and specified. Notify Landscape Architect of anydiscrepancies. No additional payments will be made for materials required to complete the work as drawn and specifiedPLANTING GENERAL NOTES:TREE PRESERVATION / REMOVAL NOTES:1.57 trees are to be removed. Trees and shrubs to be cleared and grubbed within approximate limits of disturbance to provideadequately clear and prepared palette for proposed improvements to be installed.2.Existing material removed shall be disposed of properly off-site.3.Existing trees consist of a variety of less desirable species including Ash (some dead or diseased due to EAB), Box Elder, BlackCherry, Cottonwood, and Yellow Popular. A few trees are Hackberry, Walnut, Shagbark Hickory, Pine and Spruce.4.Trees to remain shall be protected according to the City of Carmel Department of Community Services Guidelines and TreePreservation details.
