Dear Mr. Neubauer,
At the meeting held August 27, 2001, the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals took the
following action regarding two Developmental Standards Variance petitions filed by yourself for
property located at Crooked Stick Estates, Section 2, Lot 44:
APPROVED: Docket No. V-90-01, a petition to vary Section 5.3.1(8) of Chapter 5: S-
1/Residence District in order to allow an accessory structure to encroach two (2) feet into the east
accessory building side yard (3-foot side yard setback). The Board voted five (5) in favor, zero
(0) opposed, thereby granting the petition.
APPROVED: Docket No. V-91-01, a petition to vary Section 25.1.2 of the Additional Use
Regulations in order to construct an accessory building forward of the principal building. The
Board voted five (5) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby granting the petition.
When applying for an Improvement Location Permit (ILP) for this structure, please
include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Inspector's
review.
