This report was commissioned by Mr. Christopher Driskell of Crown Castle International. The existing tower in its modified state is structurally satisfactory for the proposed loading configuration for a basic wind speed of 70 mph with y," radial ice (25% reduction) in accordance with TINEIA-222-F. The tower rating/capacity is 90.3%. The foundation reactions, with the proposed loading, were found to be less than the capacity of the existing foundation. Therefore, the foundation is adequate. The foundation rating/capacity is 32.1 %. All modifications designed by GPD Associates Uob #: 2005478.49, dated 10/26/05) were considered in this: analysis. ANALYSIS CRITERIA The current requirement of TINEIA-222-F is for a basic wind speed of 70 mph with y," of radial ice. A 25% reduction in wind load is allowed when wind and ice are applied simultaneously. TINEIA-222-F requires towers within Hamilton County, Indiana be analyzed with a 70 mph wind speed. Ii has seven major sections that are connected with slip joints, bolted flanges, or welds. The structure IS galvanized and has no tower lighting. The tower was originally designed for GTE Mobilnet by Union Metal Mfg. Co. of Canton, Ohio for a 40 psf survival wind loading with Yz" radial ice in accordance with EINRS-222-C. All loads were computed in accordance with the ANSIIEIAlTIA-222-F and all local building code requirements. Selected output from the analysis is included in Appendix A. Assumptions 1. Tower and structures were built in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. 2. The tower and structures have been maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. 3. The configuration of antennas, transmission cables, mounts and other appurtenances are as specified in Tables 1 & 2, and the referenced drawings.
