At the meeting held on Monday, September 26, 2022, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Development Standards Variance (DSV) requests filed by you for the property located at 4240 E. 9611
Street:
APPROVED with CONDITION: Napleton Genesis of Carmel Sign Variances: Development Standards Variance
approvals for:
• Docket No. PZ-2022-00123 V: 1 sign allowed, 4 signs granted,
• Docket No. PZ-2022-00138 V: Signs must face a street frontage (east); Signs facing south granted,
• CONDITION: Genesis Auto Dealership to relocate or add "No Test -Driving" signage.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have
been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is September 26, 2025.
