CI1Y @plfeARMEL JAMES BRAINARD, MAYOR Marge Mikels Pools of Fun September 27,2006 3891 Clark Creek Rd Plainfield, IN 46168 RE: Pool setback for 13217 Hazelwood Dr. Dear Ms. Mikels Due to a change in translation of the City of Carmel's required pool setbacks the minimum rear yard setback for various zoning districts has changed. The minimum rear yard for R-1, which is the zone for 13217 Hazelwood Dr., is now 20 feet instead of 15 feet. Since the contract for 13217 Hazelwood Dr. was signed with the understanding that the rear yard setback for R-1 zones was to be 15 feet, the pool at that location may be built with a IS-foot rear yard setback.
