ASTM specifications C-700 for extra strength clay pipe of latest revision unless other materials are hereby permitted in writing. The sewer
shall be installed in accordance with ASTM 2321 for pve pipe and the Uniform Plumbing Code for the State of Indiana. All installations sh~l1 be
in strict compliance with pertinent City of Carmel ordinances. Back Water check valves shall be installed in accordance with City Code Section
9-122(a), and sections P3008.1 and .2 of the International Residential Code. All building sewers shall be 6" diameter. I

All installations shall be "ooen trench" inspected and aooroved bv the Cannel Sewer Deoartment before anv backfilline is done. Non-
compliance may result in digging up the sewer installation and/or denial of future sewer permits and/or denial of water connections.
No footing or foundation drains or othcr sources of ground watcr or storm water shall be permitted to entcr the public sewer.
Sewer insoections should be reaucsted at (317) 571-2648 onc to four hours in advance.
No inspections or installations will be made on Saturday or Sunday or holidays unless arrangements are made at least 24 hours in advance. f-ll
