Meridian St., #300 Carmel, IN 46032 Re: No. PZ-2022- 00185 UV, PZ-2022- 00186 V: Pennwood Indoor Commercial Recreation Facility Dear Mr. Buchheit: At the meeting held on Monday, October 24, 2022, the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Use Variance ( UV) and Variance ( V) requests filed by you for the property located at 11565 Pennsylvania Street: APPROVED with Condition: Pennwood Indoor Commercial Recreational Facility, Use Variance and Developmental Standards Variance approvals for: Docket No. PZ-2022-00185 UV: Commercial Recreational Facility, Indoor, not allowed. Use variance granted, and Docket No. PZ-2022- 00186 V: 162 parking spaces required: 122 granted; Condition: Address all remaining TAC review comments. Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Use Variance approval is valid for three ( 3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the use variance approval is October 24, 2025. Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
