Hello Chad:
Below please find my review points for the Quesa Taco proposed sign permit application:
The application you submitted was split into two because each individual sign must have its own sign permit
application.‐Do I need to submit another application?
Site plan should show exactly where signs are proposed, please update
Please specify trim color on schematics‐ the trim will be black
Please update mounting/lighting schematics to show raceway mounted channel letters (the ones included show
flush mounted specs), include a note that states raceways will be painted to match fascia.
Please change digitally printed applied vinyl to day/night perforated material for lettering to shine white at
night.‐the letters are to be pink and white, not day/night. Are the letters not allowed to be illuminated pink at
night?
Please include "face/front lit" specification on specs. Right now it only specifies "illuminated Channel Letters".

RE: Sign Package Approval – 9802 Michigan Road
Dear Tenant,
On behalf of Heartland Oil Michigan Road, LLC (the “Landlord”), I hereby approve the enclosed sign
package for Quesa Tacos (the “Sign Design Documents”) for 9802 Michigan Road, Carmel, Indiana
46032. Approval is subject to compliance with the applicable municipal building and zoning codes,
City sign permitting requirements, and contractor competency requirements.
I authorize the tenant or representative under contract with tenant to make application for and secure
the necessary permit(s) with the City of Carmel, remove any existing signs (if applicable), install the
new signs in accordance with the Sign Design Documents and municipal sign permit, and provide wall
surface restoration of any resulting visible wall damage. Any revisions to the Sign Design Documents
shall be submitted for review and approval to the Landlord.
Signage shall be removed by tenant upon expiration or earlier termination of its lease and tenant shall
repair any damage to the leased premises or building caused by such removal. After expiration or
earlier termination of the lease, Landlord shall have the right to remove any of Tenant’s signage
remaining in or on the leased premises and to have any damage from such removal repaired, all at
Tenant’s sole cost and expense.
