During the title search it was determined that the attached structure (garage)~ which was built in 2003~ was in violation of the 10-foot building setback requirement It was determined via discussions with Veronica in the City of Cannel Building and Code Enforcement Dept. that a building permit was obtained but the contractor required that the permit be taken out ofhis name and placed into the homeowner~s name due to the fact that a variance would be required and the homeovmer had not obtained one at the time of construction. The Code Enforcement Dept. has this information on file. Statement of Suoport The structure in question improves the aesthetic appearance of the property and creates a consistency with neighboring properties (all other properties in the neighborhood have 3 car garages and this home previously had a 2 car garage). The garage was cOnstructed by contractors known and respected in the area with all work completed in compliance with lucal building codes. The adjoining property owners most affected by the garage's location purchased their home AFTER the garage had been built and find no concern "th th 1 th .
