To confirm my verbal direction and authorization to you today: G. L. Morris Construction is to authorized to
proceed with the Tenant Finish-out for the above referenced project, based on the drawings titled Current in
Carmel and dated 9/19/06 by Pedcor Design, the Part-print of 2nd floor with hand sketched layout of Guardian
dated 9/6/06, and your quote dated 9/22/06 (revised 10/17/06). The Subcontract Amount is $ 138,977.00. A
Trade Payment Breakdown is attached for your use.
The Contract Amount includes the following additional items:
Add $438 for 3 5/8" steel stud and RC-1 channel on both sides of demising walls
Add $1725 for 3 electrical sub panels
Add $750 for HVAC engineer stamped HVAC drawings (Signature will pay for State Plan Release fee at actual
cost, if required)
Pedcor Design is currently working on the construction drawings for Guardian and UFB spaces. Additional work
shown on these drawings will be treated as a change order to your subcontract.
Schedule of Substantial Completion:
Current in Carmel, Lobby, and Restrooms = Dec 31,2006
Guardian & UFB = January 26, 2006
A Signature subcontract will be sent to you in the near future for your signature and all the conditions of the I
subcontract apply to this letter to proceed. Our Project Superintendent is Tim Kinney (cellular telephone number::
716-1738). Please coordinate all fieldwork through Tim.
Safety is number one on the project and we look forward to your field crew's cooperation in meeting all safety I
requirements at the site. Please ensure that all precautions are taken to protect persons and property as required by
Federal, State, and Local regulations.
Before starting work in the field, please make sure a Certificate of Insurance has been faxed by your agent to Faye
Shultz (Fax: 817-0362) in our office.
