71. Docket No. 06080014 DP/ADLS: Renaissance Hotel
The applicant seeks approval to construct a full-service hotel.
The site is located at 11911 N. Meridian St. and is zoned B-6/Business within the
US Hwy 31 Corridor Overlay.
Filed by Paul Reis of Bose McKinney and Evans LLP for W & H Realty.
The applicant seeks approval for a full service hotel. The proposed site is an
undeveloped parcel on US 31, west ofthe City Center Drive (122nd St.) and Pennsylvania
St. intersection. This item was heard at the September 19th Plan Commission Meeting.
No one spoken in opposition. These items received a unanimous positive
recommendation (5-0) at the October 3rd Special Studies Committee.
As proposed this use and structure comply with the zoning regulations. Staff has worked
closely with the petitioner to make necessary revisions prior to this public hearing. The
submitted informational packet details the most recent proposed site and structure.
There are no outstanding issues with this proposal.
The Department recommends the Plan Commission approve these requests as
forwarded by the Special Studies Committee.
